Click here You are invited by the European Commission, Directorate General for the Environment to participate in the Noise in Europe Conference that will take place on 24 April 2017 in Brussels, Belgium at the European Commission's Charlemagne building, 170 rue de la Loi, 1000 Brussels. What's in it for you?The Conference will address ongoing and future initiatives concerning environmental noise policy. In the Keynote speeches, the World Health Organisation will outline the latest findings on the health implications of noise, the European Environment Agency will detail the exposure that European citizens face to harmful levels of noise, and the European Commission will present the findings of the evaluation of the Environmental Noise Directive and activities aimed at reduction of noise pollution in the Union. The EU Presidency and representatives of ministries from Member States will then outline their views on the future environmental noise policy. The afternoon session will allow scientists, NGOs and other organisations interested in environmental noise to discuss in parallel groups:
