Dubai Land Department cooperates with UAE law firm to open free 'Legal Clinic'

DUBAI, 11th December, 2017 (WAM) -- The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has reached a cooperation agreement with BSA Ahmed Bin Hazeem & Associates, to create a ‘Legal Clinic', which will provide free legal information and advice to UAE residents.

The Legal Clinic will be open to the public on 17th December, from 8a.m. to 2p.m. at DLD's offices in Deira, providing an opportunity for all of its clients to benefit from valuable information and specialised legal advice from skilled lawyers.

Twenty-five expert lawyers from BSA, specialising in a wide range of areas including real estate, construction, employment, compensation claims, criminal matters, debt recovery, tenancy disputes, inheritance and family, will be present on the day to assist residents with their queries and concerns.

Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director-General of DLD, said, "We would like to thank BSA for its role in spreading legal awareness among our clients. We appreciate this initiative and will continue our efforts to provide services to help the public understand their rights and obligations in the real estate market in particular, as well as in various other aspects of their wider lives."
