Committed to Safety

The Department of Defense loses nearly 30 service members a year to motorcycle fatalities. 74% of those fatalities occur on SuperSport & High Performance motorcycles.

A closed circuit course provides service members a venue capable of supporting realistic speeds to properly apply life saving riding techniques.

Parking lot safety courses have their place but are inadequate to prepare riders for 200+ horsepower SuperSport motorcycles.

The track allows service members to have a safe environment to "stretch their legs" without endangering the public or themselves.

Camaraderie built among Active Service Members and Veteran riders learning advanced techniques.

Experts say that the experience gained from a day on the track can be worth more then a year of normal riding.

Structured Learning Environment

Most types of bikes are great for the track! NOT just for Supersport bikes.

T E S T I M O N I A L

Good morning everybody from the lovely shores of Saudi Arabia, my current duty location that’s preventing me from joining all the lucky riders in this event.

For those that haven’t ridden with Steve and may be wondering about doing a track day, I’d like to assure you this is a fantastic opportunity and a real bargain.

First, the event is well organized. Steve and the high quality rider coaches that assist him will lay out for you the concept of the track day, who all the rider coaches are, how the day will proceed and key information to help you have a great experience. You won’t have to guess or struggle to know what’s next.

Second, Steve is a natural born coach. Steve and his team provide a non-pressurized learning environment that’s focused on you, your skills and learning the capabilities of your bike. The participants that Steve attracts don’t foster an environment where people push riders to go faster than their skills are ready to take them. But you will very likely be a smoother (meaning faster) rider by the end of the weekend from what you learn and your increased comfort handling your bike.

Third, the cost is a bargain for the quality of coaching and experience you will gain. A similar event with this quality of coaching at other tracks is hundreds more in cost. The new trainer will be very helpful to develop proper muscle memory before actually firing up your bike and twisting the throttle. I can’t wait to get home to MacDill to use it to work on my transitions and knees and elbows. Very generous of Steve to have bought this for track days!

Fourth, Jennings is a great technical track to learn cornering so you won’t be short-changed there. Long straights to really wring it out? No, but anybody can go fast in a straight line tuck....corners are where it’s at. Just watch World Superbike and MotoGP races where the powerful Ducatis get passed in the corners by Hondas and Suzukis.

Fifth, the riders at these events are all great Americans. You’ll make new friends and learn a ton just chatting in the paddock. It’s a blast to go to a follow-on track day and see friendly faces.

Hopefully for those that are still wondering, you now feel confident that you will learn a lot, get your money’s worth, have a great time improving your skills and learning your bike’s capabilities in a friendly environment. You’ll definitely leave Jennings a more confident rider.
