Some new stuff going on right now...

Among other things, a month's vacation is being started in order to replenish new energy for myself as well as to spend quality time with the family, the daughter who has continued summer vacation and wants to be active as much as possible.

So there will be mixed elements of summer theme, activities, enjoyable food and drink, ice cream, spending time on the coast, visiting family and friends.

After that, I will begin a new job as a coordinator in the public sector after more then 10 years in the private sector. Looking forward to this alot 🙏

So to show my appreciation I was inspired paint a New motif with the theme of Sun & Water including a jumping Rainbow Trout in the front 🙏☀️🎣🌊🏖️

Wish you all a further nice Summer friend's all over! 🙏

Just finished the latest watercolour painting size 29,7 X 40cm.... To Honor the local Trout's this time of year due period of Ephimera Vulgata 🙏

As for watercolour motif it takes several days making it... Each "Step" during add of colours important to dry in between otherwise the Pro Art watercolour paper will dissolve....there are No room for error I assure you 🙏

A suiteble frame with coloured passepartout and a Set of flies along dried plants will be mounted all together to be decorate someone's livingroom or "Cave" 🙏

Latest Salmon

Done some New paintings Lately among all - this watercolour painting on a male Salmon due spawning season...

.. It measures 68x24cm and will be print ed on Quality Art giglee paper in Limited edition's...

...these prints includes with a Classic Salmon Fly & Dried Leaves with a suitable vintage golden frame and with a passepartout in Choosen colour...

...got some more ideas waiting to be fulfilled. Until next time

My Biggest Salmon.... So far!

Monday 6 of september 2021

Soft Sunday today by the Vise dressing some New Salmon Flies ready to test later today. Until my Loved Ones deside to see a movie, while I was heading towards the Salmon River... Ones again, and it was worth it I tell you!... 🙏

Starting up with loosing a quite big male Salmon jumping in the air after biting the fly so the leader snapped of. About 30min later another male bite the fly that I manage got in the net after a short fight. But during the sun begun setting a lots of Salmon show themself's in the River, one a quite big one not that far from me so I did a Quick desision and present the fly in that area. While the fly drift thru the current the line suddenly stops.....

I was a bit of worry that the fly was stucked on lumber beneath the water but I realized when then line slowly went up the Stream that the fly was placed in a Salmon..... After couple of minuters I realized this One was a big Salmon, maybe bigger then I caught before. After 20minutes of struggle and the Beast went up to the surface I realized THAT THING I NEVER BEEN ABLE TO LAND IN THE NET IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RIVER STANDING WITH THE FLY Rod IN THE BOAT!!!

So I made a Quick desision and place the fly rod in under my armpit, Pulling the line with the ancor and begun to row in to the shore where two of my fellow friend's was waiting to assist me, one of them was taking my net, and the other was pulling up the boat while I got on shore and did pull in the Salmon..... WHAT A FINISH OF A WEEKEND!!!!

The male Salmon was 105cm long!!!! A BEAST!!!

I Wish to send my gratitude to my fellow friend's who assist me during this situation, I Would probably have "Some" problems to make it by my own.... Thank you VERY much Guys!!!

Hi there!

The Fly tying season has begun, as I am a PRO TEAM member in SEMPERFLI FLYTYING MATERIALS and AHREX FLY HOOK'S my main goal this season is to do a wide variations of flies for Salmon, Seatrout, Rainbow Trout, Classic Salmon Flies, Wet's, Drie's, Semi realistic flies, and some for Pike aswell as shown below on the photo....

... These Flies is just a few example that I have choose to show this time.

My main Flies I dress is General Salmon Flies and Coastal Flies for Seatrout both in modern Style and Classic style.

Since five years back I choose my own Style of modern Salmon Flies that I use a combination of Natural and Synthetic Fly Tying materials as shown below...

...as I am a PRO TEAM member of SEMPERFLI FLYTYING MATERIALS there is a wide spectra of materials to choose from, and not just for salmon flies!

I am one those who got the opportunity to give feedback and develop some of the materials that SEMPERFLI FLYTYING MATERIALS are promoting around the whole World. I am very Honoured to be part of this and it give me opportunity to develop my Style of Fly dressing, for example my own Shrimp pattern the "Sandshrimp" that has been one of my fly patterns in my Coastal Fly Box thru the years 21 to be exactly! The Latest edition is as shown below....

As I also is a PRO TEAM Member of AHREX FLY HOOK'S I got the chance to test a wide range of Fly Hook's with High quality both fishing flies and flies for display during a whole range Fly Fishing and Angling Show's around Europe as for example Sweden, Denmark, Norway, England, Ireland and Scottland so far...

....my wish is to continue be one of the invited fly tyers on future show's and do some presentations on fly patterns and also show some of mine painting's aswell...

... here is my latest painting of a Seatrout chasing a Shrimp, it is now ready to be mounted in a frame ahead!

The Latest Fly Fishing & Angling Show I was invited to was this past Weekend on the "Virtual" version of Irish Fly Fair and Angling Show 2020 in Galway, Ireland. With some of the Greatest fly tyers from the World, along with a whole range of Casters and Exhibitors. Instead to be on the spot the Covid-19 situation made this to be a safe way to organize it anyway Thank's to the enthusiasts Stevie Munn and Elaine Munn! I wish to send my gratitude for their commitment and I really hope it is possible to make this event "Live" during 2021!

Latest for upcoming!

This year has so far been, to say the least, different from the previous year .... With covid-19 making up for it for many. However, we can hope that it stabilizes for the better so we can fly fish in the waters that are also found in other places, countries etc!

This summer I have had the opportunity to focus on my painting and developed it further, in detail ... in combination with fly tying, as well as dried flowers that I combine together with antique gold frames with a suitable mat.

Fyller upp med moderna Laxflugor!

One half of the Wooden box filled with New dressed modern Salmon Flies on AHREX FLY HOOK'S tied with Thread and tinsel from SEMPERFLI FLYTYING MATERIALS!

The other half will be filled with Seatrout flies, especialy my own pattern the Sandshrimp "Sandräkan" but in a updated version for the upcoming Fly Fairs ahead!
