Golf is open to all
The Royal and Ancient Golf Club Scholarship
The Royal and Ancient Golf Club Scholarship is a new award. It is designed to identify, support and develop the next generation of golf’s leaders through financial support and unique connections to The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, The R&A and St Andrews.
This is a truly global programme which will be a flagship for The R&A Foundation and will strengthen The R&A’s existing networks with affiliates and other bodies within international golf.
The G4D Open
Many of the world’s most talented golfers with disabilities will compete in The G4D Open at Woburn from 15-17 May.
Ireland's Brendan Lawlor edged out Kipp Popert in a close contest for an historic win in the inaugural championship last year.
The message that golf is open to all has to go out loud and clear.
“We have established The G4D Open to provide a world-class stage for the very best golfers with disabilities to compete against each other and realise their ambitions at an elite level.”

Golf It!
The R&A’s family-focused project at Lethamhill in Glasgow is a community-based golf and entertainment facility.
The new development, which opened in 2023, includes the creation of a nine-hole course, putting greens, short-game area, adventure golf and a floodlit driving range to allow visitors to enjoy a wide range of golf activities.
