Growing up in a musical family, I started very young, singing in my local church choir, going to theatre school on a Saturday and learning to play the piano.

During my teenage years, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (M.E.) and music was my therapy that allowed me to heal and recover to full health. It was at this time that I wrote my first musical, and its performances raised money for Great Ormond Street Street Hospital, where I had been a patient.

Realising the vital importance of music in my life, I went on to study as a Composer at Guildhall Junior Department, and then trained in Musical Theatre at Performance Preparation Academy.

Whilst studying I began teaching singing, piano and drama to children and then students and adults.  I love sharing what I know and enabling others find their creative voice through the arts.

Straight out of college, I began working in London as a Musical Director, Pianist and Accompanist, playing in shows, gigs and events in the West End and around the UK.  (See below for more details)

During the Pandemic, I was lucky enough to teach online and work on a number of films and also collaborate on some new writing projects as composer.

Coming out of Covid, I was cast in The Phantom of the Opera in the West End, where I spent two years performing on stage eight shows a week, whilst also managing to fit in all sorts of projects, productions and gigs in between.
