Wellbeing in the Arts

Mental health and wellbeing support for the Arts and Creative Industries

There is a mental health crisis across the Arts and Creative Industries, a workforce at its lowest ever point psychologically, and a lack of support available for those who need it most.

Our Vision

Our vision is an industry in which every individual and organisation has access to mental health and wellbeing support, where those who struggle with their mental health can share their experiences without fear of judgement or consequence, awareness and understanding of mental health issues is vastly improved, and the root causes of poor mental health in the workplace are addressed.

What We Do

  • Provide access to a diverse range of over 125 trained, BACP / UKCP registered Counsellors across the UK, all of whom have an understanding, knowledge and experience of the unique challenges of working in the Arts and Creative Industries
  • Supply ‘on the ground’ mental health and wellbeing support to TV, film and theatre productions, art galleries, museums, heritage centres, studios, events, and festivals, etc
  • Run a varied programme of mental health and wellbeing workshops, talks, seminars, and training courses
  • Improve awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues amongst those who work in the industry
  • Campaign for positive change and challenge the root causes of poor mental health in the workplace
