ABOUT ME
I am founder of Psychophonetics, Methodical Empathy and the consultancy program ‘7CC - the 7 Conditions Counsultancy -for Sustainable Organisational Development’.
I was born in Israel.
Life took me to Australia, South Africa, Great Britain and then to Europe.
I am coach, counsellor, psychotherapist, international consultant, trainer and lecturer, now based in Bernolakovo (Bratislava), Slovakia.
Alongside teaching in the Psychophonetics professional courses, public lecturing, organisational consultancy and private practice – I also publish articles regularly in the Psychophonetics International Magazine of IAAP (International Association of Psychophonetics Practitioners), in Vitalita and Dieťa magazines in Slovakia and in academia.edu internationally, as well as in his FB account and Youtube channel.
I have three children, four grandchildren, I am married to Miroslava Tagar, living together in Bernolakovo.
MY EXPERIENCE
2012-now
Recently I am the dean of studies at PACE – Psychosophy Academy of Central Europe, senior lecturer at Škola Empatie, Slovakia, and director of Psychophonetics Institute International.
I teach Psychophonetics, Psychosophy, Anthroposophy, coaching, counselling, psychotherapy and psycho-somatics in Slovakia and internationally. We train holistic coaches, counsellors, psychotherapists and Psychophonetics Practitioners in the 3-year course of Graduate Diploma of Psychophonetics Trainer for Personal Development.
I also offer regularly seminars in public education on topics of psycho-somatic and mental health, personal and professional development, relationship, parenthood, organisational development, Anthroposophy, Psychosophy and Psychophonetics.
2007-2013
Before settling in Slovakia I worked as a course director of Health Creation, UK, as head of Psychophonetics Training for the Association of Artistic Therapies (UK) and lecturer at Persephone College UK in the UK and in private practice in Stroud (UK), Budapest, Prague and Bratislava
2002-2010
Before that, I was head of Psychophonetics training at Novalis Institute Cape Town and director of Persephone Institute of Psychophonetics in South Africa
1997-2010
and Persephone College in Australia since (1991-2007).
I practiced as a Psychophonetics counsellor and psychotherapist at the Melbourne Therapy Centre (1991-2002),
Syringa Health Centre and Persephone Village Clinic in Cape Town (2002-2010)
1982-1985
I managed Rudolf Steiner House in London
1953-1980
and before, I worked as a social worker with migrants, youth worker, head of the youth department and consultant for complementary education in Israel after national service.
Son of a citrus farmer in Nes Ziona, I completed high school at Kibuz Givat Haiim.

MY LIFE WORK
My life discovery is Psychophonetics, the first practical application of Psychosophy (Rudolf Steiner’s foundation for Anthroposophical psychology and psychotherapy) - out of many years of research, studies and experimental work with transformational theatre, humanistic and transpersonal psychology, Anthroposophy, Psychosophy and my personal journey of healing, development and transformation.
DRAMA AND EMPATHY
I believe that
empathy was originally created in theatre and its further development presents
as the cutting edge in human evolution.
PSYCHOLOGY OF FREEDOM
Psychophonetics – a Psycho-Development of Freedom,
is a creative process for the
conscious cultivation of empathy with oneself
(Self-Knowledge) and others.
I take it as an expression of commitment
to the ideal of
personal evolution of consciousness,
spiritual development and individual freedom.
TRAINING IN PSYCHO-DEVELOPMENT
I try to show the transition from ‘Psycho-Therapy’
to ‘Psycho-Development’
as the major application of new psychology.
I see my work in the development and
practical training of Methodical Empathy
as a contribution towards
the unfolding future civilization
of sisterhood and brotherhood with each other
and with nature.

Yehuda Tagar has created a powerful and profound new psychotherapeutic approach based on the relationship between sound, gesture and emotion through which trauma and painful memories can be brought gently to consciousness for healing.
