Hello from the Yarndale Team!
We hope you are all well despite all this wet and windy weather we've been having recently.
We've had a great response to our new Yarndale Hope Sock Kit which launched earlier this month and we hope you've all been enjoying knitting your socks and hats. We were even sent an adorable photo of a much loved teddy baby wearing his own Hope socks (see below).
Exciting News!
As we've previously mentioned, we've been having lots of discussions recently about how we can share the Yarndale spirit and experience with you online and we are delighted to announce that Yarndale is going digital this year!
Yarndale@Home will be taking place online on the weekend of Saturday 26th September (10am-4.30pm) and Sunday 27th September (10am-4.30pm) where we will be bringing our Yarndale community and exhibitors together in a new way. It's the same weekend as the physical show, but please don't turn up at the Auction Mart as you'll find only sheep there!
We're planning online talks, demonstrations and some live events via Zoom and Instagram and there'll be lots to see and get involved with on our website www.yarndale.co.uk.
We're still ironing out all the details and putting together a schedule but please do save the date, and tell your friends, as we'd love to see you there.
Yarndale Hope Sock Kits
We know that some of you are planning to knit socks over the show weekend and share the experience with other crafters which is a lovely idea. We still have some of our Yarndale Hope Sock Kits available on our website.
