A really inspirational hands-on workshop and a very pleasant surprise to see the final painted and fired ceramics that our group produced. I loved the overall concept of being inspired by Poole Pottery through items precious to each of us, and how the Stoke-on-Trent participants mirrored the same idea. Great to see someone with my Brownsea Island piece and I also know a little about the person who created my piece from Stoke.
Have just taken a look at the site again, following the distribution of out work. I was so pleased to see my pot in the hands of it’s new owner. I do hope that it gives you aa much pleasure as ut did me creating it. I have since tried a potter’s wheel & created 2 pots & I will definitely be doing more🙂.

Sad to send my creation to Stoke and sad that the project has come to an end but at least I have a bit of Stoke created pottery to make up for it! I like the bubbles and piercings on the piece I selected and the fact it was created by a mother and daughter.
Everyone is very happy with their chosen works from Stoke!
Maria with Artor’s incredible work, that explores his birthplace of Siberia and experience of moving to Stoke on Trent as a child, the bottle ovens obviously made a big impact!
