Free Virtual 5 mile relay. Clubs compete as mixed teams of 8 - 4 men & 4 women. Clubs can have as many 1st claim runners as they wish - top 4 men & women scoring once competition closes. Top 50 clubs progressing to round 2. Qualifying Round will take place during the window of 26/12/21 @ 00:01 – 13/01/21 @ 23:59.

Sign in to OpenTrack account, creating account if needed. Enter competition by clicking Enter Here. Race 5 miles (8.05km) between 26/12/20 00:01 – 13/01/21 23:59. Upload GPS proof of activity manually or using Strava integration button. Strict closing time for results upload - midday 14/01/21. Entry open to members of EA only. 5-mile legs. Athletes must make runs PUBLIC on Garmin/Strava to allow scrutiny. Performances that do not comply with rules will be marked as non-scoring. Teams can be a mix of junior, senior & masters athletes. Minimum age to compete is 15 years of age.

Runs between 00:01 on 1st day of the competition & 23:59 on last day. One result per runner. Results submission deadline - 12:00 (midday) 14/01/21 using instructions on the entry page. Runs to be named ‘EA Virtual Relay’. Keep 2m (min) distance at all times when passing in public. Do not drive to run unless absolutely necessary. Runs must start & finish near same point (500m leeway for GPS errors), either lapped or out & back. Lapped courses must not include laps of less than 1km. Runs must take place off track. Government guidelines re physical distancing must be strictly adhered to. Runs can take place at real races that meet the rules set out & which are licensed by RunBritain. No more than 10m net elevation loss. No part of longer run results permissible. Only upload one result. Elapsed time only.
