PURPOSE
This consultation aims to gather feedback on what you think about the draft Healthy Environments Supplementary Planning Document.
The document contains guidance related to the design of built environments that support the health and wellbeing of our communities.
Next Steps
All comments submitted will be considered when finalising the Healthy Environments Supplementary Planning Document. Once adopted, this document will be a material consideration when deciding planning applications.
STAGES
1 | Pre-production
Pre-production, evidence gathering and initial consultation.
2 | Drafting the document
After considering the comments made during the initial consultation, a draft document will be prepared.
3 | Public consultation on draft document *CURRENT STAGE*
A consultation will take place on the draft document.
4 | Consideration of comments and Final SPD prepared
All comments received during the consultation will be considered, and a final document will be prepared.
5 | Adoption
The document is ‘Adopted’ by the Council and will be a material consideration when deciding planning applications.
