50% pilotage & berth hire charges discount for vessels using LNG fuel

Adani Ports & Logistics have advised that the waiver scheme for vessels using Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as fuel is also being applied at the ports of Dahej and Dhamra.

The 50% waiver scheme will be offered from 1 August 2021 to 31 January 2022, based on following criteria:

  • applicable for vessels which are run by dual fuel engine using LNG as a primary fuel
  • 50% discount on pilotage and berth hire charges
  • applicable for vessels using LNG as fuel within port limits
  • not applicable for vessels carrying LNG as a cargo and using LNG fuel.
  • vessel must produce the IAPP certificate or similar objective evidence in the form of certificate prior to arrival in port limits, which must indicate the specification of the vessel’s Engine and Fuel details to avail the waiver scheme.

All other port charges will be as per the BPTS tariff.
