Background
The Committee held evidence sessions regarding the impact of the June 2018 fire upon the iconic Glasgow School of Art Mackintosh building. The Committee’s evidence sessions focussed on the management and custodianship of the Mackintosh building and its collections. The Committee also examined the future of both the building and the collections. The Committee's Report The Glasgow School of Art Mackintosh Building – The Loss of a National Treasure was published on 8 March 2019.
