Once upon a time, New Orleans-bred singer Lucky Daye musical sensibilities were trapped within a religious cult. Once his mother fled the organization, Hurricane Katrina brought him to Texas before he heading down to Atlanta to truly chase his recording career.

Fast forward to the present day and Daye is prepping his all-debut-everything via Keep Cool/RCA Records.

The first single, “Roll Some Mo,” finds a sultry smooth melody carving out atmospheric lyrics that highlight the pure side of R&B.

And thanks to his ATL travels, he linked with tenured R&B producer D’Mile, who is executive producing his debut album, Painted.
