Your wedding ceremony sets the tone for your wedding day and should be a true reflection of you as a couple.
Having been asked more than once by friends to create and lead their wedding ceremony for them, I realised I was ready to complete the training in order to work with more couples. What a joyous way to spend time!
My greatest strengths are empathy, sensitivity and understanding, and I am known for creating emotional (in a good way!), meaningful ceremonies.
I am confident that I can create for you a beautiful ceremony, that reflects you as a couple. It will really engage your guests and create a special memory to treasure.
All celebrants are different and you should find the one that feels like the best fit for you. So, let’s meet and have a chat, and see how I can best help you. Initial conversations are obligation free and complimentary, so do please get in touch.

How we work together to create something special
Initially we meet for an informal chat, as a chance for you to get to know me better and for me to understand some of your ideas. Ideally this will be in person, with a coffee, but if you are further away it will be by Zoom.
If you wish to book, this is done with a contract and non-refundable deposit. Your date is then secured and I won’t take any other ceremonies on that day. This means that you can truly relax on your day. I will not be rushing off to another ceremony, I will just be focused on you. If there is an issue (traffic, venue), then your celebrant won’t be one of them.
We will then meet for an in-depth ceremony planning meeting. I will get to know you and your story as a couple a lot better in order to write your bespoke ceremony. You will of course be sent a draft, and we will make edits as needed. Your ceremony will be finalised in good time for your ceremony and I will contact and send cue scripts in advance to your musicians and photographer.
This really adds to your ceremony flow as the other professionals can then focus on their craft. For photographers in particular it means they know when the key moments will happen and can capture those beautiful, memory making images for you.
My fee for new bookings is £750
This includes everything you normally need, and any special moments in the ceremony such as signing a wedding certificate and handfasting.
Included:
-I will only book one ceremony per day so once confirmed, I will be exclusive to your wedding
-My exclusive pre-meeting questionnaire
-A meeting with you to fully understand your story to create your bespoke ceremony
-Write then edit your ceremony as needed
-Guidance for your promises, poetry, readings, and music
-A full rehearsal of your ceremony, usually at the venue
-Cue scripts for photographers and musicians
-Liaise and work with venue staff
-Greet your guests on the day
-Conduct your bespoke ceremony
-All my travel costs within a 30 mile radius of my home. Travel costs for further travel and accommodation will be agreed in advance.
-A printed presentation copy of your ceremony to keep
-My DBS check and public liability insurance
