Do you like to stretch your stamps? Today I have created a fun masculine design using a Christmas stamp set!
But first, this post is part of a Hop celebrating a new release from Altenew so you should have arrived here from TENIA’s wonderful Blog.
I’ll start with the funnest one! I was so excited to see this Globe Builder Die Set.
And I did hold back on the temptation to make it a shaker… though it was hard to do lol.
My next design is very clean and simple. I am loving the retro style of this release and these bells look like they have a real shine.
And I think the Mid-Century Cover Die looks amazing tone on tone.
My final design was fun to make. Can you see how I pulled the stamps from the Mid-Century Festivities Set together and created this masculine design.
I think it’s wonderful when we can stretch our Christmas supplies to use them all year round.

Fabulous, Therese! Your masculine card brought me back to my childhood – and the Jetson’s! I always adored the ‘jingle bells’ in the bells and bows set – this little bell is a great addition to it! But that cover plate? May just be the one I can’t let get away! Though the snowman comes in second – it is the ‘funnest’ of all!

I love mid century modern, but the snowman stole my heart. The colours and glittery bits are awesome.
I love the cute snowman! The aqua, pink/red combination is very “modern”- not what I would usually go with, but is it is bright and cheery. I guess I will have to go out of my comfort zone and give this combo a try! Thank you for the inspiration!

Beautiful cards Therese. I think that snow globe set is going to be very popular, the little snowman is so cute. Also love the mid-century cover die and the bells, paired they make a truly elegant card. Great colourway in the retro card. Very reminiscent of an Irish fashion designer who still produces designs in this colour combo. Thank you for the inspiration. I think I know what’s going int o my shopping basket ❤️

Gorgeous cards. Whenever I see retro design like your card, I think of The Jetsons. I don’t know if Australia had that show, but, when I was a kid, it was a cartoon show about a futuristic family and their goofy dog, Astro, who, just like Scooby Doo, spoke with a goofy accent. He was the best part of the show. You could probably Google it. 😀
