Mental wellbeing
We would like to hire professional artists to work with pre-school-aged children and their parents. This will boost creativity and develop confidence and language skills prior to school attendance.
About this cause
We provide friendly support for antenatal through to preschool activities for parents, childcare providers, and grandparents, via socialising, exploring, learning, songs and games, and regular talks on child and adult health and wellbeing. Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided. Regular visits from health visitors and referral and support advice for back to work will also be available.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Children and their parents, carers, or extended family members will be able to join in the sessions and the public can visit the exhibition of work at the end of the project. New families will be encouraged to take part in the fun creative project and promote it to other parents. Health visitors will also promote the project to their patients and encourage attending to assist with wellbeing.
