Description

Do you find yourself feeling stressed? How do you manage this? Would you like to improve how you manage this?

Join Dr Rachel Thomas as she talks about various areas of wellbeing. She will discuss the impact of stress on both global and individual levels. She will look at possible ways to help manage this, again both on individual and larger, innovative and entrepreneurial scales.

She will cover some techniques, including mindfulness and other lifestyle interventions, and the evidence-base behind them, that may help you thrive, not just survive, in today’s fast-paced world.

She can be followed on instagram @doctor.rachel (https://www.instagram.com/doctor.rachel/?hl=en) and her TEDx is online (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2soII73di4)

The lecture will be from 17:30 - 18:30, with a drinks reception in the Henriette Raphael Function Room afterwards. Student Ambassadors will be there on the night to direct and answer any questions.

Please note that the lecture is open to King's staff and students and you must bring your student or staff ID card to the lecture.
