The WaterStriders are a four-piece act hailing from Athens, Greece. The band was formed back in 2015 and their music could best be described as indie rock and garage pop. Influenced by such 80s and 90s British pop and rock bands as The Smiths, Placebo and Lush, or American acts like The Pixies and Smashing Pumpkins.

The WaterStriders have formed their own style characterized by distorted guitars and melodic lines. Their music ranges from indie and garage tunes to guitar pop and Brit pop sounds. The band has already released two singles off their forthcoming full-length album titled “My name is EXPECTATION” (Old Bad Habits Label, October 2022), and is currently writing new material while preparing for live performances. They have already performed live in Greece and made a special appearance on Greek National Radio.

We've waited a long time for Thee Holy Strangers' second album! But yes, it was worth the wait, the band delivered a sophomore made of gold. Rocky, dusty gold, mind you, crude yet pure and beautiful! This is an indie-rock anthem with the distinguish americana style that the band established from the debut. It seems to have a conceptual flow and works really like a time-stopping spell.
