It’s All About Jesus!
Welcome to my website!! My desire is to show how a sound biblical worldview adds perspective, meaning, and joyous hope to our lives. It’s a matter of placing a greater worth on eternal realities versus our earthly aspirations. Such an eternal outlook begins with our expectation of our “blessed hope” (Titus 2:11-14), the glorious appearing of Jesus to take us home to heaven.
Our hope rests solely and securely in Jesus and His imminent appearing (1 Corinthians 15:51-57; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11; Philippians 3:20-4:1; Colossians 3:4). It’s then He will raise the “dead in Christ” with resurrection bodies, catch those of us alive at the time up to meet Him in the air, and take us all to His Father’s house in heaven (John 14:1-3).
Biblical prophecy is all about Jesus! It’s all about exalting His Name as we look forward to His appearing and to His reign over the nations of the earth as described in Revelation 20:1-10).
Jesus’ is coming for His church in the near future. It’s the details of His appearing and our lives in eternity that enable us to face a world filled with wickedness and lawlessness.
If you do not yet know Jesus as your Savior, please go to Jesus Is the Only Path to Eternal Life. You can know that you have eternal life (1 John 5:13). Now is the time to respond to the Lord’s offer of everlasting life; please do not delay. For more regarding the hope that’s ours in Jesus alone, please click here.
The Triumph of the Redeemed
My book, The Triumph of the Redeemed — An Eternal Perspective that Calms Our Fears in Perilous Times, lays a solid biblical foundation for why we can confidently expect the Lord to come for His church before the start of the still future events described in Revelation 6-18.
Understanding the Gospel
Because we live in the end times, it’s vital that you understand the Gospel and are born again as the Apostle Paul describes in Titus 3:4-7. With that in mind, I urge you to consider following my wife Ruth’s Facebook page where she shares devotional posts (click here or search for Ruth Brentner on FB) each week that exalt Jesus and clearly explain the glorious saving message of the cross and eternal life.
My Journey
My passion for writing about our eternal hope came from my failures and many afflictions. Through these, I learned it’s not just what you know that matters, but what you cherish. My life changed when I learned to value eternal realities above my temporal aspirations.
I’m convinced that we live in biblical times that are far different than any time since the first century AD. I say this because of the abundance of signs pointing to the soon arrival of the seven-year Tribulation with the Rapture occurring before it starts.
Although many mock our expectation of Jesus’ soon appearing, the words of Scripture side with those of us who cherish the hope of His imminent return.
