Feature products #1: Mid-Century Festivities Stamp & Die Bundle

Altenew-Mid-Century Festivities Stamp Set-Mid-Century Festivities Die Set

This set will get your Christmas/holiday mood going for sure! I took out all my favorite Altenew Ink and gave them all a good workout!

The Christmas tree is perfect for stamping a simple background. I absolutely love the ornament topped and went all out on embossing them in TWO colors. Why not!?

I love the silver and gold topper and they really jazz up the look a lot!

If you are into houses, this stamp set will make you giddy. There is some coloring involved, but it is very manageable since they are tiny spots.

Altenew-HomeSweet Home Stamp & Die Bundle-Gel Printing Soft Washes 6x6 Paper Pack (3)

I took the advantage of the new pattern paper (Gel Printing Soft Washes 6x6 Paper Pack ). It didn't take long to color the images as I left most of the house in white.

How fun is that stone road ? AS you can see, I added something extra for the cloud to add textures.

Altenew-Diamond Mandala 3D Embossing Folder-Floral Holo Stamp & Die Bundle -001

This card may look like it takes a long time to create....well, it took me about 15 min at most.

Altenew-Diamond Mandala 3D Embossing Folder-Floral Holo Stamp & Die Bundle -002

I love inking up the embossing folder with three of the colors (yellow, orange and purple) from Rainbow Prism 6 mini Ink Cube.

Altenew-Diamond Mandala 3D Embossing Folder-Floral Holo Stamp & Die Bundle

Since this card has such vibrant colors, I kept the sentiment really simple on vellum. A touch a glitter paper adds just the right punch.

Since the Floral Halos Stamp & Die Bundle are so fine and dainty, I thought of doing white-embossing on vellum. Aren't they cool?

I then lightly colored them with Artist Markers. They turned out beautiful!

Once I have all the die cut pieces, I arranged them in a pleasing way.... ta-da!

The white-embossed sentiment really went well with the arrangement. I do not always recommend getting coordinating dies, but this one is "worth it"!

What can I say? This release is jam-packed with awesomeness. I have ONE more card from the release and will share it in my next postYou can get the entire release HERE.

I remember those retro ornaments . . . except we didn't call them retro.
They were made of very fragile glass. There were always a couple shatter accidents when seeing up the tree.
Love your card, Virrginia.

WOW! What a bunch of terrific cards you've created. Love the ornaments...I think I still have ones like them. And you really got me with those puffy clouds over that sweet cottage. Gorgeous colors and sentiment treatment on your mandala card and those vellum flowers are just perfect.

Really cool, the vellum and white embossing powder. I didn't think of the retro tree with the ornaments. The scale looks terrific.
