General & visitor parking

  Prices from the 1st October 2023

  • Up to 2 hours - £3.00
  • Up to 3 hours - £4.00
  • Up to 4 hours - £5.00
  • Full day (until 8am the next day) - £8.00

Weekend and evening parking charges 

  • Evenings - £2.00 from 5pm-8am (if you have bought an all-day ticket this includes the evening and you do not need to buy another ticket).
  • Weekends - £2.00 until 8am the following day (a ticket on Saturday would be valid until 8am on Sunday; a ticket on Sunday would be valid until 8am on Monday).

The purchase of a parking does not guarantee a parking space.

How will it work?

Everything you need to use this service can be easily organised through the APCOA Connect app (Google PlayLink opens in a new window / Apple IOSLink opens in a new window) or through their website. You can also pay by machine, phone and by text message.

You will see signs in the car park telling you how to pay using our location code 2503 (excludes Sports & Wellness Hub car park).

  • APCOA Connect app & autopay
  • You can pay for your parking via an app called APCOA Connect. We recommend downloading the app in advance of your visit. After downloading the app, you need to register for an account.

    Once you’ve got an account on the app and you’ve parked at the University of Warwick, simply select the location code 2503 and choose the tariff for your duration of stay.

    Autopay (APCOA connect app)

    After you have registered for an APCOA connect account, you can also choose to apply for autopay to remove the need of having to remember to pay on entry each time you park on campus. Please visit the APCOA connectLink opens in a new window website for further information

    If you do not have access to a device which can download the app, or do not wish to create an account, please follow the instructions within the APCOA connect machine, website or phone.

  • APCOA Connect website (including Late Pay)
  • If you do not have access to a device which can download the app or do not wish to create an account, you can also register using the APCOA connectLink opens in a new window website. You can pay either on arrival or up to 24 hours after the start of your parking session, (this is known as Late Pay).

    You can decide on whether you wish to create an account for a quicker check out on your next visit, or to continue your parking payment without registering for an account.

  • Pay using a phone
  • Call 01895 262 122 and follow the instructions provided to book your parking session. Call costs will be dependent upon your Network Provider and your individual contract, please refer to your Network Providers pricing policy for any respective pricing tariffs.

    If you opt in for a reminder or a confirmation SMS, Connect will charge at a rate of 10 pence per SMS sent to you in addition to the Network Provider fees. For further information please visit APCOA connect FAQsLink opens in a new window.

  • Pay using our cashless machine
  • We have a payment machine within the Arts Centre which you can use to pay for parking by contactless or chip and pin payment. Simply visit the machine, enter your vehicle registration and enter the duration of stay.

  • Pay using SMS
  • In order to pay for parking using SMS, you must first register your payment details on the APCOA ConnectLink opens in a new window website. Once you have registered, to buy parking simply send an SMS message to 078 6000 6000 using the format:

    park CVV ParkingCode LocationCode VRM

    An example of this is as follows

    • park is a keyword to let the service know you are parking your vehicle.

    • CVV is your payment card's 3 or 4 digit security code (also known as a CV2 code).

    • Parking Code is the code for the number or days, weeks etc. that you are parking your vehicle for e.g. 120 = 2 hours etc, 180 = 3 hours, 240 = 4 hours, 801 = 1 day (expires 8am the following day).

    • Location Code is a 4-digit code that refers to the location, as displayed on the website and local signage. The location code for our general car parks is 2503. Please note this does not apply to the Sports & Wellness Hub car park which has it's own separate location code.

    • VRM is your vehicle registration mark.

  • Pre-book general parking
  • To save needing to pay for parking on the day of the visit, visitors and other general users can pre-book parking in advance. For further information please visit our pre-book car parkingLink opens in a new window page.

Sports & Wellness Hub
  • The Sports & Wellness Hub car park will operate on an alternative tariff and parking purchased on other University of Warwick locations will not be transferrable. You must select the location code for the Sports & Wellness Hub car park to view the appropriate rates, or use the machines within the car park. If you purchased parking within the Sports & Wellness Hub car park, your parking session will not be valid outside this location.

Scarman, Radcliffe and The Slate car parks
  • If you have a registered staff AutoPay account the staff rates will not apply within Scarman, Radcliffe and The Slate car parks. You will be charged the full general tariffs unless you have registered your details with the venue.

Students

If you're a student, staff payment portals are not available to you. Please consider alternative modes of transport where possible and plan your journey in advance: https://warwick.ac.uk/services/estates/transport/.

If you do need to bring your car to campus, parking is available in our general car parks as detailed above.
