Hello! It’s been too long since we’ve had a Colorado Craft Company release but today I’m so excited to be a part of their blog hop for a new collection! The illustrators name is Kris Lauren. You can find her on Instagram as @pretty.little.lines. This is an incredible collection of mice, gnomes and flowers. All with available coordinating dies! I’m sharing an adorable mouse scene card today.

1. On a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” Neenah Solar White cardstock, use the Clouds and Grass Stencil and Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Seafoam for top of panel. Use same stencil and ink to add grass at the bottom. Splatter panel with the Seafoam ink. Set aside to dry.

2. Stamp all images from Mouse House stamp set with Intense Black Ink on Neenah Solar White cardstock.

3. Color images with Copic markers. I used YR 21, YR23, YR27, YG13, YG17, YG67, E40, E41, E43, E53, E55, E57, E59, W00, W0, W1, W3, R00, RV00, RV02, RV14, V000, V12, 0. Die cut with coordinating dies. Be sure to cut the door for the house as well.

To create the flowers growing along the house, I dotted on the YG13 leaving lots of empty space. Next I dotted on the RV14 and V12 to fill in some open areas. I then added YG17 and YG67 sparingly. I went back with RV14 and V12 as needed. I then randomly added white gel pen dots throughout.

4. Stamp the grass from This is the Life Toadstools twice using Sprout and Fairway ink and die cut.

5. Stamp “Happy” using Surf ink and “Birthday” from Happy Peony using Surf and Ocean ink. Die cut.

6. Die cut a second house, keeping the window pieces and do not cut the door. Color the window pieces with Y11, Y15, Y17 and the door area with E55, E57, E59. Adhere this piece behind the first house.

7. Adhere pieces to the card panel with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

8. Before adhering the sentiment, stamp the sub sentiment in Ocean ink. Add the sentiment pieces above this with a second die cut layer behind them.
