Finance

 

Main tasks

  • Ensure the enterprise’s expenditure isn’t more than its income
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Helping to make financial decisions
  • Monitor money on sale days
  • Aid in liaising with internal and external contacts

Team meetings: Approx. 1 hour per week

Individual: Approx. 1 hour per week

Required at the selling event: Approx. 2 hours

  • Create the marketing materials for the enterprise such as flyers, posters, digital media, etc.
  • Oversee all of the social media for the enterprise
  • Lead on the identity of the enterprise
  • Promoting any events related to the enterprise
  • Aid in liaising with internal and external contacts

  • Recruit new volunteers onto the enterprise
  • Be in charge of the induction
  • Ensure volunteers feel welcome and valued
  • Act as social secretary for volunteers on the enterprise

  • Plans sale days
  • Takes the lead on sale days to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Ensures all volunteers know what their responsibilities are
  • Manages the link between the making and selling of the product
  • Ensuring the enterprise has locally sourced products
  • Maintaining relationships within the university and externally
  • Facilitate communication between the enterprise and externals
