Apply for Special Treatment Licence grant (Additional Restrictions Grant - Category E)

Apply to receive a one-off Special Treatment Licence grant for your business.

 Completion takes around 10 - 15 minutes.

How does it work?

The Special Treatment Licence grant is apart of the Additional Restrictions Grant and is specifically for businesses that are licensed for special treatments. For example:

  • Nail pedicure/manicure 
  • Laser hair removal
  • Tattooing
  • Light treatments - e.g. sunbeds
  • Acupuncture
  • Cosmetic piercings
  • Massage

The grant is available to help you meet ongoing business costs during the coronavirus pandemic, including fees for necessary licenses.

Applying for this grant does not stop you from applying for any other business grants.

What will I get?

The amount payable is a one-off grant of £1000, per licence holder.

If you're a joint licence holder (two individuals), this will count as one licence.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for the 'Special Treatment Licence grant', you must:

  • Be a Special Treatment Licence holder
  • Have been trading before Sunday 20 December 2020

Your business must have a trading address in Bexley to apply.

What details do I need to provide?

Ensure you have the following business details to hand:

  • Special Treatment Licence number
  • Official business bank account details

You'll also need the following business details, where relevant:

  • Company House Number
  • VAT Registration Number
  • Unique Tax Payer Reference Number (UTR)

Before you start

You will not be eligible to apply if your business is in administration, receivership or winding up.

If you're a joint licence holder, the joint parties will need to agree on what bank account the grant will be paid into.
