It has been shown that the creation of new ventures is positively connected to the drivers of economic growth and productivity through increased innovation, competition and job creation. This report provides international benchmark data for entrepreneurial activity in Northern Ireland, on a comparable basis.
The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is an international project, involving 54 countries (in 2017), which seeks to provide information on the entrepreneurial landscape of countries.
