Ambitious about Autism is the national charity standing with autistic children and young people.

We believe every autistic child and young person has the right to be themselves and realise their ambitions.

We started as one school and have become a movement for change. We champion rights, campaign for change and create opportunities.

Our specialist education services support autistic children and young people to be themselves and realise their ambitions.

Through Ambitious College, Spring School, St. John’s College, The Rise School and TreeHouse School we offer specialist education and support to enable autistic children and young people to access the high-quality education that they deserve.

Quality is at the top of the agenda in everything we do, with a focus on meeting the individual needs of autistic children and young people to ensure they can succeed in education and prepare for adulthood. Through our Ambitious Approach, we embed quality of life across all aspects of our settings to enable us to provide high-quality education whilst affording dignity, respect and compassion.

Ambitious College is a specialist day college for autistic young people aged 16 to 25. The college has two campuses situated in partnership with mainstream colleges in north and west London.

Ambitious College runs a supported internships programme for young people aged 16 to 25 with an Education, Health and Care plan who need support and training in a workplace before applying for jobs. The ultimate goal of the programme is to help young people obtain paid employment and live independently.

The programme takes place in a business setting where interns are supported through on-the-job coaching and improvement strategies. Learners are immersed in the workplace, benefitting from continuous feedback and gaining real employability and competitive work skills.
