The Robert Burns Ellisland Trust
Robert Burns Ellisland Farm is a farm house set in the idyllic banks of the river Nith and was built by Robert Burns in 1788. Our aim is to keep the knowledge of Ellisland's importance in Burns' life alive as it was here where he wrote his most famous works such as 'Auld Lang Syne' and 'Tam O' Shanter'. Since Covid 19 our events have become a mixture of Online and in person. Currently we are open for tours around the farm with opening hours as found below.
