We are delighted to announced the successful delivery of the first battery pack to Cherdchai Motors Sales, the largest bus operator in Thailand. This was a landmark for the DP NEXT battery assembly plant, a joint venture between Durapower Holdings Pte Ltd and Banpu NEXT Company Limited. When completed and in full operation, the plant will deliver products specifically engineered to facilitate fast charging with a high storage capacity to optimise the driving range of Cherdchai's e-Buses. The first pack delivered to Cherdchai is a high performance lithium NMC battery solution, could allow the vehicle to be driven 300km on a single charge with a shorter recharge time as compared to conventional lithium LFP battery technology. These benefits are crucial for the bus operator to enhance service efficiency. The plant is poised to meet the intensifying demand while contributing to the transition from ICE heavy-duty vehicles such as buses, trucks, and heavy commercial vehicles to EVs throughout Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region. #electricvehicles #electricbus #EV #sustainability #battery

Thank you Nanyang Technological University Singapore for featuring our collaboration with your Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) in sustainable battery research in the article - "Transformational Synergies: Bring Ideas to Life, Together" featured in latest issue of Pushing Frontiers magazine. The Durapower Holdings Pte Ltd - ERI@N collaboration has already yielded a novel solution that utilises digital twin and cloud technologies to offer accurate real-time condition monitoring of #lithiumion batteries for up to five years. This solution that is currently being tested at NTU’s Smart Campus and it could potentially help to extend battery life by over 50%, which in turn will significantly reduce carbon emissions. As high and humid temperatures in places like Singapore pose unique challenges to a battery’s performance, testing and understanding the operational state of batteries at the component and system level becomes extremely important. #lithiumion #batterylife #sustainabilility
