Register by April 3, 2019, to receive the early-bird discount and save up to $100! For onsite registration, come to the MLA '19 Registration Desk at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
- Payment must accompany your registration. You may pay by check or money order payable to MLA or via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.) Only registrations paid by credit card or purchase orders may be faxed to 508.743.9662. Payments must be in US dollars and free of bank charges.
- If you are an MLA member and would like to be invoiced, you must include a purchase order with your registration. Payments not received by June 7, 2019, will be charged an $80 late fee.
- Electronic/Wire Transfer Information: Contact MLA at registration@mail.mlahq.org for transfer information.
If you register online, you will receive a confirmation by email within minutes. If you register by mail or fax, allow five days after receipt for an email confirmation. If your email address is invalid or missing, allow two weeks for a mailed confirmation. For easy badge retrieval, please bring your confirmation letter with you to the MLA Registration Center.

MLA members in good standing are eligible for discounted member rates. To qualify for member rates, MLA membership for 2019 must be paid by March 31, 2019. Nonmembers may create an account and join on MLANET. Members of the following groups qualify for MLA member registration rates:

You qualify for student rates if you hold student membership in MLA. Student members also qualify for continuing education courses (CE) and symposia for only $50 each, pending available space. You may join MLA as a student member when you register online or complete the membership form online on MLANET.
If you have a legal disability or dietary requirements, please include a written description of your needs with the registration form. Describe your needs and include an email address or fax number where we can contact you for more information. MLA must receive the information by April 3, 2019.
All children must have badges. Complimentary badges are available at the MLA Registration Desk. Children under thirteen are not permitted in the exhibit hall.

Packages A, B: Meeting Registration
Package A includes admission to all sessions, exhibits, the Welcome Reception, and the Tuesday MLA Networking Event. This package provides the best value.
Note: You may choose to opt-out of the MLA Networking Event for $100 less; online this creates a new "Package B" and you will not receive a ticket for that event.

Package C: One-Day Registration
Includes admission to all sessions and exhibits on a specific day, with the exception of ticketed events. On the registration form, indicate the day you wish to attend: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

e-Conference registration provides unlimited access to all the online meeting content for one full year, through May 2020, for up to 25 individuals in your institution. View videos of all Plenary Sessions and PowerPoint slides with synchronized audio for all available Immersion and Paper Sessions. In addition, you can interact with over 150 posters in the Online Poster Gallery. Plenary Sessions are posted online about 24 hours after the end of the presentation, while e-Conference registrants can usually access synchronized audio/slide for Immersion and Paper Session within 1 week after the end of the presentation.

Exhibits-only
Exhibits-only allows entry only to the Hall of Exhibits from Sunday to Monday for spouses, significant others, and persons working outside the profession. It does not provide admission to the Saturday Welcome Reception, plenary sessions, or meeting programming or access to online meeting content. Exhibit-only passes are sold onsite at the MLA Registration Desk for $50.

Cancellations
All cancellations for meeting registration and CE courses must be submitted in writing and faxed to MLA at 312.419.8950. Include an email so we can confirm your cancellation. Meeting cancellations received by April 3, 2019, are subject to a $50 fee. You will be assessed a $50 fee for each CE course change or cancellation. However, MLA will honor written requests to transfer meeting registration or CE registration to another person without charge.
After April 3, 2019, MLA will give refunds only for documented medical emergencies. Refunds will be processed within six weeks after the meeting.
