Overview

Patent litigator Stevan Stark has experience litigating all phases of complex patent disputes in venues throughout the country, including in courts with heavy patent dockets, such as the U.S. district courts for the Northern District of California, Delaware and the Eastern District of Texas. His practice spans a broad array of technologies, including networking and internet technologies, cloud-based technologies, image processing, video game consoles, mobile devices, software and electronic and mechanical devices.

Stevan has prepared successful case dispositive motions, argued before U.S. district courts and handled all phases of discovery, including preparing witnesses and taking and defending depositions, all with an eye towards minimizing expansive discovery. He has represented clients at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and has successfully defended and challenged patents at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in inter partes review proceedings.

A former software engineer with a degree in computer science, love of technology and industry experience, Stevan worked for nine years as an engineer in computer imaging and internet- and cable-related technologies prior to becoming an attorney. Throughout his professional career, Stevan has proven his value to clients with his ability to successfully represent technology companies and effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of organizations.
