 COURSE OPTION 1 - HAND SEWING - BEGINNERS

  This course is designed for students with limited or no experience in Hand sewing. On this course Students will be equipped with the necessary skills to hand sew a bespoke jacket.

*This course covers various Hand sewing techniques including Baste stitching, Mark stitching, Pad stitching, Felling and Buttonholes used when making a Bespoke Jacket.

*Students will also benefit from up to 2 hours private tuition throughout the duration of the course via zoom.

Course Duration: 8 weeks

COURSE OPTION  2 - JACKETS - BEGINNERS/INTERMEDIATE

This course is suitable for students who have completed either the beginners’ course or have a basic knowledge in hand sewing and is competent in using a thimble.

Students will be able to enhance their tailoring skills and techniques to make an authentic bespoke jacket.

. This course is also suitable for pre-apprenticeship students who are keen to pursue a career in the tailoring industry.

*The course is designed to equip students using step by step videos tutorials on how to:

*Cut and fully construct a jacket, Hand sewing buttonholes, Finishing and Pressing.

*Students will also benefit from up to 6 hours private tuition throughout the duration of the course via zoom.

*Students will be provided with pattern and a Jacket making pack. 

Course Duration: 6 months

COURSE OPTIONS  3 - JACKETS - ADVANCED

This course is suitable for mature students. It is designed to equip students using step by step videos tutorials on how to:

*Cut and fully construct a jacket, Hand sewing buttonholes, Finishing and Pressing.

*Pattern provided

Jacket making pack is not included on this course option. These can be purchased via the online shop. Or you can supply your own materials.

*Private tuition optional charged at an hourly rate.

*Full assessment via zoom on course completion.
