What's Going On
Due to a signalling problem between Brockenhurst and New Milton trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines. Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
What We're Doing about it
We have been informed of multiple signalling problems between Brockenhurst and New Milton. This means that trains will be required to run at a reduced speed on some lines.
- Services are running at a reduced speed between New Milton and Sway on the line towards Southampton.
- Services between Sway and New Milton are running at a reduced speed on the line towards Bournemouth.
- Additionally, trains are running at a reduced speed on the line towards Bournemouth between Brockenhurst and Sway.
Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:
Services running from Bournemouth and terminating at Winchester will be cancelled.
Services running from Winchester and terminating at Southampton Central will be cancelled.
To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services:
- M2: Poole - Parkstone - Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Morebus.
- X2: Bournemouth - Christchurch - New Milton - Sway - Lymington Town - Morebus.
- X1: Bournemouth - Christchurch - New Milton - Lymington Town - Morebus.
- 1A: Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch - Morebus.
- 1B: Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch - Morebus.
- 1C: Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch - Morebus.
- 22: Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Morebus.
- 33: Bournemouth - Pokesdown - Christchurch - Morebus.
- 6: Southampton Central - Millbrook - Totton - Ashurst New Forest - Brockenhurst - Lymington Town - Bluestar.
- 8: Southampton Central - Millbrook - Totton - Bluestar.
- 9: Southampton Central - Millbrook - Totton - Bluestar.
- 11: Southampton Central - Millbrook - Totton - Bluestar.
- 12: Southampton Central - Millbrook - Totton - Bluestar.
