Thank you for participating in our survey to find out how long it takes to get a diagnosis of endometriosis in the UK as a person of colour.

Currently the widely quoted statistic is a misrepresentation of people of colour, who we already know face significant barriers accessing care.

We want to hear from you if you're a person of colour and you've had a diagnosis, if you're going through the diagnosis process or if you have suspected endometriosis, so we can see what your experiences are.
We’ll use the information in our lobbying and campaigning work to drive down diagnosis time and improve access to care for marginalized groups.
It is all too easy for decision makers, such as in Parliament or the NHS, to assume that the previous quoted statistics are inclusive of all communities, however we know this is not the case of marginalised groups .By sharing your experience, you will help us shout loudly for the changes that are needed, with the evidence for these communities. So we urge you to send this survey far and wide to ensure we centre all voices in this conversation. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Responses are completely anonymous, we are not asking for any personal or contact details that can identify you.
If you have any questions about the survey, you can contact us by emailing - smile@cysters.org
