PAEDO CRACKDOWN

Evil paedo first to be sentenced to lifetime castration after attacking schoolgirls, 9 and 12, in Kazakhstan

AN EVIL paedo dad has become the first to be sentenced to castration by chemical injection in Kazakhstan after sexually attacking two schoolgirls.

Yerkinbek Alimbekov, 41, was convicted by a court in Shymkent of attempting to rape the nine and 12-year-olds, and he was also caged for 15 years in a prison renowned for its strict regime.

The serial paedophile, previously convicted of sexual offences against children, faces lifetime injections to permanently castrate him subject to medical checks following his release from jail.

A court was told that the father of one had previously been jailed for paedophile attacks on two teenage girls in 2003.

He was released on parole after serving half of a ten-year sentence, and soon afterwards married and fathered a child.

Alimbekov faces injections of a drug that will lower his sexual desire.

This chemical castration will be carried out during and after he has served his sentence under new laws in Kazakhstan aiming to reduce sex attacks on children.

During his latest vile assaults, he approached the nine-year-old girl on the street and offered to show her a newborn puppy, said judge Abinur Karabayev.

THREATENED TO KILL

He took her into an abandoned courtyard and forced her to undress, threatening to kill her if she did not obey him.

She managed to escape the sex attacker and ran to seek help from a passerby while Alimbekov fled.

Soon afterwards he grabbed a girl, 12, and forced her into bushes where he attempted to rape her.

She was saved by art college students who heard her cries for help.

The students held Alimbekov and called police who arrested him.

The former Soviet republic decided recently that paedophiles will face “coercive chemical castration” under its new system.

CASTRATION

Kazakhstan purchased stocks of Cyproterone, a steroidal anti-androgen developed for fighting cancer, to use for chemical castration of paedophiles, according to reports.

Urologist Dr Mirzakhmet Zhanadilov said: “It causes the lowering of libido."

However, he warned that it wouldn't produce the same effect in those being injected, explaining that the "medication that is enough for one person to prevent repeated (sexual) offending, others can be resistant to.

“For them, not only do we administer the drug but control testosterone too.”

But psychologist Gulnara Aytnzhanova warned chemical castration would lead to paedophiles taking out their anger using violence.

She predicted: “There will be hatred, hatred to society, hatred [towards] other people."

Another ex-Soviet republic, Ukraine, this month  introduced sweeping new laws to forcibly castrate convicted paedophiles by chemical injection.

The legislation potentially applies to thousands of  men aged between 18 and 65 annually found guilty of raping or sexually abusing minors.

This “involves the forced injection of anti-androgen drugs consisting of chemicals that should reduce libido and sexual activity”, reported Ukrinform news agency.
