The world has gone digital and costs are increasing for businesses, from inflationary pressure on materials and energy prices to higher transportation costs of finished products. In this world with no boundaries, companies that are not on a digital transformation journey and focused on innovation simply will not be able to compete, according to the recently appointed chief executive of Enterprise Ireland.

Leo Clancy said: “Innovation leads to productivity increases and higher margins as it means companies can increase the value of their offering thanks to better differentiation. This can help them to overcome rising costs and the other issues that are affecting business at the moment.”
