Our Mission
upCYCLE is a Brixton CIC founded to give young people from disadvantaged areas the opportunity to positively engage with meaningful nonacademic learning in a safe space and develop positive aspirations. We do this by providing refurbished bikes, 1-2-1 mentoring, bike repair classes and cycle skill sessions.
Our mission is to increase racial equality in cycling and wider society by creating pathways and empowering young people from ethnic minority groups through sport, while removing barriers and providing opportunities for them to make a meaningful change in their lives.
