UKONS 2018 | Top research priorities in teenage and young adult cancer

Sue Morgan, MA, RGN, RSCN, MBE, of the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Leeds, UK, discusses the results from recent work establishing research priorities in the care of young adults and teenagers with cancer, where psychosocial issues were identified as a top priority. The Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Priority Setting Partnership tackled this issue, with funding from the Teenage Cancer Trust, Children with Cancer UK and CLIC Sargent, independently overseen by the James Lind Alliance and hosted by the National Institute for Health Research. Sue also highlights the implications of these findings and plans for future steps. This video was recorded at the UK Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS) 2018 Annual Conference, in Glasgow, UK.
