Ink Leak

After looking at the work of Pipilotti Rist, I wanted to use symmetry and a divide to create a piece that embodied rhythm and movement. The hair dipping under the water almost looks like ink as it disperses. The transitions of distance make you aware of the depth of the space and disorientate the viewer, whilst the elements of the hand adds a more grounding segment to the video, making it dramatic.
